Communications Subcommittee
Review current master plan; Evaluate current communications method and present any new communication methods to the planning commission. Prepare a consistent message to be presented to the townships not under county planning and zoning. Review PA 33 of 2008 (new consolidated planning act); prepare and share in an educational forum new changes through consolidation of the planning acts.

Policies
- Meet regularly with the townships throughout the county regarding land use and zoning issues.
- Send copies of Planning Commission meeting agendas and minutes to each township.
- Establish a regular agenda item for township issues as part of the County Planning Commission meeting.
- Create task forces or committees to study specific issues of concern to townships or particular geographic sectors of the County.
