Mission Statement
The Community Development Department Team is committed to providing
responsive, effective quality service to the residents and land owners of
Isabella County.
Community Development Department Functions:
- Planning and Zoning
Responsible for enforcing the Isabella County Zoning Ordinance and processing applications and permits.
- Housing
Responsible for administering the housing program benefiting low and moderate income families.
- Inspections
Responsible for administering the state of Michigan Construction Codes
- GIS
Responsible for developing maintaining and analyzing GIS data.
