Recording Fee Increase
- (Effective March 31, 2003)
The statutory recording fees (per
document) will increase as follows:
- - $14.00 for the first page
- - $3.00 for each additional page
- - $3.00 for each additional liber
& page listed
- (one
is included at no charge)
These fees reflect a $3.00 recording
fee increase ($10 total) and $2.00 State Remonumentation fee
increase ($4 total). (P.A. 698 & P.A. 700 of 2002). Fees will
be applied according to the receipt date for recordable
documents. All documents received for recording on or after
March 31st will be calculated at the new rate.
Please make sure the new fees are
included on mailed recordings to avoid returns for additional
fees.
