Board of Commission Openings:

The Isabella County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for appointments to the following Boards/Commissions for terms that expired or are expiring:

1. Four, 3-year terms, (5/31/09 through 5/31/2012) on the Agricultural Preservation Board representing conservation, agriculture, townships, member at large.

2. One, 2-year term (12/31/08 through 12/31/2010) on the Construction Board of Appeals representing architectural/engineering.

3. One, 6-year term (7/1/09 through 7/1/2015) on the Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors.

4. One, opening on the Community Corrections Advisory Board representing the media.

5. One, 3-year term (4/30/2009 through 4/30/2012) on the Cultural and Recreational Commission.

Applications are available in the Isabella County Administration Office located at 200 N. Main Street, Mount Pleasant or at www.isabellacounty.org and will be accepted until June 11, 2009 Appointments will be made at the Regular Board Meeting on June 16, 2009
