County Job Listings:
Commission on Aging Part-time
Site Manager / Gratiot County Site
Under the supervision of the Nutrition Program Coordinator, oversees the
operation of a older adult nutrition site to provide meals and socialization
for Commission on Aging clients. Helps serve meals and is responsible for
proper temperatures, portion control, and sanitation. Plans and coordinates
a variety of educational and entertainment programs for older adults.
Regularly involved in the recruitment of program participants. Prepares and
gives presentations on available programs and on issues relevant to seniors.

Wage: $11.57/hour

Board of Commission Openings:
The Isabella County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for appointments to the following Boards/Commissions:
Two, 3-year terms, (5/31/09 through 5/31/2012) on the Agricultural Preservation Board representing Conservation and member at large.
One, 3-year term (12/31/09 through 12/31/2012) on the Board of Public Works.
One, 3-year term (12/31/09 through 12/31/2012) on the Zoning Board of Appeals.
One opening on the Community Corrections representing the Media.
One remainder of a 2-year term on the Construction Board of Appeals representing building trades ending 12/31/2010.
One remainder of a 2-year term on the Human Rights Commission representing CMU ending 9/1/2011.
One, 3-year term (3/31/2010 through 3/31/2013) on the
Community Mental Health Board.
Applications are available in the Isabella County Administration Office located at 200
N. Main Street, Mount Pleasant or at
www.isabellacounty.org and will
be accepted until March 11, 2010. Appointments will be made at the Regular
Board Meeting on March 16, 2010.
