Part-time Commission on Aging Homemaker Aide
Under the supervision of the Program Coordinator, performs household tasks in the homes of older adults. Vacuums, mop, dusts, and performs other cleaning tasks. Schedules clients for service, maintains calendar, and maintains daily activity records.

Essential Functions

Performs housekeeping activities in the clients’ home such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming. Cleans bathrooms and kitchens, and does laundry,
Schedules clients for services and maintains daily and monthly calendar of client care.
Maintains daily client records of services provided. Reports any significant client changes or problems to program staff or emergency personnel.

Beginning Salary: $10.89/hr

Temporary Substitute Cook – Commission on Aging- Ithaca Site
Under the supervision of the Nutrition Program Coordinator, assists the Head Cook in a central kitchen in the preparation, packaging, and distribution of food to the various meal sites. Performs cleaning and sanitation tasks such as washing food preparation equipment and utensils, sweeping and mopping floors, and related tasks.

Beginning Salary: $9.54/hr- Varying hours as needed-No guaranteed hours

Material Recovery Facility Manager
Isabella County seeks qualified applicants for the position of Material Recycling Facility Manager. The Facility Manager is responsible for the operation of Material Recovery Facility and all equipment related to recycling services, supervises facility processing staff and drivers including operation schedule, facility safety, facility grounds, equipment and truck maintenance.

Minimum qualifications include high school diploma or equivalent and course work towards licenses or certificates applicable to position duties; five years of skilled or semi-skilled maintenance experience; and a valid Michigan chauffeurs driver’s license.

Compensation package includes starting pay at $20.64/hr plus full time fringe benefits.

Position will remain open until filled.

The Isabella County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for appointments to the following Boards/Commissions:

One opening on the Commission on Aging Board for the remainder of a 3-year term ending 12/31/2013 representing district #6.
One opening on the Construction Board of Appeals for the remainder of a 2-year term ending 12/31/2012 representing Building trades.
One opening on the Board of Public Works for 3-year terms ending 12/31/2014.
One opening on the Community Mental Health For CM Authority for a three year term ending 3/31/2012

Board/Commission Applications are available for download or obtained at the Administration Office located in the Isabella County Building at 200 N. Main St., Mt. Pleasant. Map and directions to the county building.

Applications will be accepted until March 15, 2012. Appointments will be made at the Regular Board Meeting on March 20, 2012.
