Spring is in Bloom at Isabella County Parks

Fringed PolygalaSpring is a wonderful time to take full advantage of the hiking trails at Deerfield Nature Park and Meridian Park. There is nothing better than a walk in the park with sunshine, singing birds, and budding wildlife all around you!

While you're visiting the park be sure to look for this beautiful "Fringed Polygala" along with other Spring flowers that are blooming at Isabella County Parks.

Paddlesports Day on Saturday, June 1, 2013

Learning to use a kayakJoin us for Paddlesports Day on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Deerfield Nature Park. This is a unique opportunity to train from the best on various watercrafts. Kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards will be available for everyone to try out on the pond by the beach!

Pre-register at the Parks Main Office by Friday, May 24, 2013 at noon!
