Gift Certificates

 
Gift Certificates make great gifts for that hard to buy for friend or loved one.  They are available for camping fees and annual passes.  Contact the Parks Main Office at (989) 772-0911 ext. 340 for more information. or click here for an order form.
2008 Parks Projects
  • > Pere Marquette Rail-Trail of Isabella County Tunnel Completion (MDOT).  Ribbon Cutting Wednesday June 4, 2008 6:00 p.m.
    > Final punch list items (MDOT – to be completed by early summer)
    > Pere Marquette Rail-Trail Clare continuation – Construction to begin in 2009
    > Improve Park Signage
    > Entry signs at Parks
    > Meridian Park Gate house
    > Inventory of Park Projects
    > Establishing/developing Park Maps with new GIS (Geographical Information System) computer program
     > Park program development (Back to Nature programs)
     
    • Look for continued park improvements in the years to come as funds are available. 
     
     
    Volunteers Needed
    Volunteers are always needed for trail building, park projects, Chippewa River clean up and other special community events.  If you or your organization would like to be part of a park project or clean up event, contact the Parks Main Office at (989) 772-0911 ext. 340, or by email here.
     
     
    The Isabella County Parks and Recreation Commission is committed to the enhancement of its 1004.5 acres in parks and properties.  It is the desire of the Commission to provide quality recreational facilities while incorporating the wise use of its lands.  Some of the most natural areas found in Isabella County.
