Did You Know?Annually Isabella County residents and businesses recycle approximately 11 million pounds or roughly 5500 tons of cardboard, paper, and containers per year, thus saving valuable resources, supporting local jobs, and decreasing disposal costs.
Our Mission:
To promote the responsibility and principles of Stewardship in the community. Stewardship here is defined as caring for and replenishing the environment which provides air, water, and other bio-diverse life sustaining resources. The message of the program: When we take from the environment, we must also give something back in return.... for the future.
Isabella County is committed to providing recycling services for the foreseeable future. Despite recent financial challenges, Isabella County residents may rest assured that the recycling program will continue through the balance of 2010 and beyond.
