NOTICE OF ELECTRONICALLY CONDUCTED
HUMAN RIGHTS COMMITTEE MEETING
In an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19, as allowed under the Open Meetings Act and consistent with the Isabella County Declaration of a Local State of Emergency (Resolution No. 20-12-03 effective December 15, 2020), the Isabella County Human Rights Committee Meeting will be held electronically.
Notice is hereby given that the Isabella County Human Rights Committee will conduct its regularly scheduled May 3, 2021 meeting electronically at 5:15 p.m.
The materials related to the meeting will be available on the homepage of the Isabella County website at www.isabellacounty.org under “Other Board, Committee & Commission Meetings”. Following the recommendations of state and county health officials and the Center for Disease Control & Prevention and in keeping with the County’s COVID-19 Preparedness and Response Plan, the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration Emergency Rules for COVID-19, and the Michigan Open Meetings Act, the May 3, 2021 Isabella County Human Rights Committee Meeting will not provide for in-person public attendance.
All interested persons may attend and participate in the electronic meeting. The Public will be able to access the meeting live by telephone.
To access the meeting by telephone: Please call (312) 626-6799. When prompted for the “Meeting ID” enter “833 7194 3048” and the “#” sign. If prompted for a “Passcode” or “Participant ID” enter “#” sign. You will join the meeting with your audio muted and you will be able to hear the meeting participants live.
Public comment will be received during the normal public comment sections of the meeting via telephone call-in. To raise your hand for public comment, telephone participants should press *9. The host will announce the last three (3) digits of the caller’s telephone number to alert the public comment participant that it is their turn to speak. The host will call on you to speak, and your audio will be unmuted for your public comment time.
The Isabella County Human Rights Committee was established in 2008, pursuant to action of the Isabella County Board of Commissioners. The Isabella County Board of Commissioners appoints members of the Human Rights Committee to review and recommend action on issues and concerns related to human rights and civil rights.
