Effective March 17th, 2020 till May 29th, 2020

To ensure the safety of the employees and customers of the Isabella County Clerk’s office, we will be closed to walk-in customers.  All County Clerk services will be done via email, phone and fax.  Please contact our office for Vital Record requests, Marriage License requests, DBA’s, Birth and Death requests.  Application for Vital Record requests can be found here.  Please email or fax the request to our office and we will mail them back to the customer after we have received payment through the mail and or email.  BIRTH CERTIFICATE REQUESTS MUST HAVE A PHOTO ID EMAILED WITH THE APPLICATION OF THE APPLICANT ON THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE.

Marriage License requests will still be done (for now).   Below is the affidavit link to the form that will need filled out.  There are many extra steps that need to be taken so please make sure to click on the marriage license option on the County Clerk main page.  Other documentations need to be sent in with the below form.

CPL’s can be mailed in but will not be processed until finger printing agencies reopen.

There will be no genealogy research conducted in person at the Clerk’s office.

No passport photos will be taken at this time.
