The Beal City Schools went into lockdown this morning when the mother of a former student made threats to school personnel that she was going to “level the building.” The school immediately went into lockdown.

The mother, 37 years old from Farwell, MI was arrested for making the threat and is currently lodged in the Isabella County Jail. She will most likely be arraigned tomorrow.

The case remains under investigation by the Isabella County Sheriff’s Department.
