The individuals have been arraigned and are identified as:

Zachary Allen ThompsonZachary Allen Thompson, 25 years old from Harrison, MI

He was charged with:

Manufacturing Methamphetamine
Retail Fraud 3rd degree
Resisting and Obstructing a Police Officer
Mr. Thompson’s bond is $60,000/10% cash surety

Autumn Nicole WonseyAutumn Nicole Wonsey, 19 years old from Lake, MI

She was charged with:

Possession of Methamphetamine
Retail Fraud 3rd degree
Ms. Wonsey’s bond is $50,000/10% cash surety.


Original News Release

The Isabella County Sheriff’s Department has arrested 2 individuals for an incident that occurred at Wal-Mart last night. A 25 year old man from Harrison and a 19 year old woman from Lake, MI had stolen multiple items from Wal-Mart and were being detained by Loss Prevention until Sheriff’s Deputies arrived. Once deputies arrived, the male subject attempted to flee, but was apprehended after a short foot chase.

Subsequently, deputies were given permission to search their car and a bottle containing methamphetamine (meth), along with other ingredients to make the drug were found. The plastic bottle was used to make the meth (one pot method).

The 25 year old man was arrested on the following charges:

  1. Manufacturing Methamphetamine
  2. Retail Fraud 2nd degree
  3. Resisting and Obstructing a police officer

The 19 year old woman was arrested on the following charges:

  1. Possession of Methamphetamine components
  2. Retail Fraud 3rd degree

The incident occurred at approximately 8:20 pm on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Wal-Mart, 4730 Encore Blvd., Union Township.

The Sheriff’s Department was assisted by Mt. Pleasant P.D., Michigan State Police and the 3rd District Methamphetamine Team.

The subjects will be arraigned later this afternoon.

The case remains under investigation by the Isabella County Sheriff’s Department.
