Isabella County issues this Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) to solicit proposals from qualified professional firms for the provision of Feasibility Assessment services. The County intends to enter into an agreement with the chosen firm for a Feasibility Assessment of its Recycling Program and Material Recovery Facility (MRF) Operations. The County desires a review of the adequacy of its current MRF facility, its business-type operations, its approximate material flow volumes, its material flow types, and analysis of the potential regional material types and volumes available, to determine the feasibility of the County, local units of government, and other neighboring partners upgrading the Isabella County Recycling Program to better serve our regional community.

To be considered, five (5) copies of a proposal must be received by the Administrator/Controller’s Office at the Isabella County Building, Room 205, 200 N. Main Street, Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858 by 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2022. In addition, a PDF copy is to be emailed to Administrator/Controller, Nicole F. Frost at nfrost@isabellacounty.org. Isabella County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals submitted. Proposals submitted will be evaluated by County personnel as determined by the County Administrator/Controller, with final approval by the Board of Commissioners.
