Michigan Adoption Day - November 25, 2014






Michigan Adoption Day is now in it’s 12th year.  This event is to educate the public about the adoption process and to help more Michigan children find permanent homes. 


Need a Passport??

passportbookThe Register of Deeds Office will have extended hours during the holiday season to accept passport applications.

For 6 weeks, on Wednesdays only by appointment, November 5th through December 10th, the Register of Deeds Office in the Isabella County building will be open for appointments from 4PM until 6PM.  Please call to make an appointment, (989) 317-4089.

We always accept walk-in passport applications daily Monday through Friday from 8AM to 4PM.

On February 11, 1859 the state legislature organized Isabella County and a commission was appointed by the governor to establish the county seat at Isabella Centre. In 1860 voters approved the transfer of the county seat to Mount Pleasant.  ...more
