Middle Michigan Development Corporation is hiring for the position of President . As a Michigan 501c6 organization, Middle Michigan Development (MMDC), represents the municipalities, businesses, institutions, and citizens of Clare and Isabella Counties in the heart of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula, an area appropriately known as the Mid-Michigan region. Mid-Michigan is home to over 100,000 residents, Central Michigan University, Mid-Michigan Community College, and is well known for its biomass, oil and gas, and fabrication industries. MMDC is located in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, situated in Isabella County and employs a Clare County Director through a unique partnership with Michigan Works Region 7B, as well as an Office Administrator.
As President and CEO of MMDC the successful candidate will report to the Board of Directors and will regularly communicate with the Client Council. The President will be responsible for the day to day management of the organization spanning fiscal, project, and public relations activities. Fiscal responsibilities include timely processing of all revenue and expense related items, budgeting, and ensuring the solvency of the organization as directed by the Chair of the Board and Treasurer.
The Commission on Aging Gold Key program arranges all transportation and provides monthly mileage reimbursement. Use your own vehicle to transport Older Adults to scheduled doctors’ appointments, medical facilities, or food sites. You must have a good driving record, proper insurance, a valid drivers license, a vehicle in adequate repair and knowledge of our city and county area.
The Commission on Aging Gold Key program arranges all routes and provides mileage reimbursement. Use your own transportation to deliver lunchtime meals to homebound Older Adults one day per week.
Isabella County is located in the heart of Central Lower Michigan.
