Notice is hereby given pursuant to the Open Meetings Act, Public Act 267 of 1976, effective March 31, 1977. The Isabella County Jail Ad Hoc Committee will hold a meeting in the Board of Commissioners’ Chambers (room 225) in the Isabella County Building located at 200 North Main Street, Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858. The meeting will commence at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2019.

These meetings are open to all members of the public under Michigan's Open Meetings Act.

Professional Engineering Services Request for Proposals

The Isabella County Board of Public Works is seeking Statements of Qualifications from Professional Engineering firms to perform engineering services. The engineering services required to perform maintenance work on the Counties Water system’s 7,500-gallon Hydropneumatic water storage tank as outlined in the engineering report dated, September 29, 2015, prepared by Dixon Engineering, Inc. Additionally construction bids shall be solicited to clean and paint the piping in Well House #2 and installation of a new manway in the storage tank including but not limited to providing design, writing of bid specifications documents and submittal review for various projects, construction inspections and certifications.

Animal Control Parking Lot Expansion and Paving Request for Proposals

Isabella County issues this Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) to solicit proposals from qualified professional firms for the provision of parking lot expansion and repaving services. The County intends to enter into an agreement with the chosen firm for the asphalt parking service and expansion of the parking area. The County desires asphalt replacement and expansion of the vehicle parking area with a smooth durable surface.

To be considered, five (5) copies of a proposal must be received by the Administrator/Controller’s Office at the Isabella County Building, Room 205, 200 N. Main Street, Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858 by 12:00 p.m. on Monday, May 6, 2019. In addition, a PDF copy is to be emailed to Deputy Administrator/Controller, Nicole F. The County intends to enter into an agreement with the chosen firm for a floor model convection steamer.
