Paddlesports Day Demo & Workshop
Join
us for the unique opportunity, Saturday, May 19th at Deerfield Nature
Park beginning at 10 am, to train from the best on various watercrafts.
There will be demonstrations of kayak strokes and maneuvers; freestyle canoe maneuvers; and stand-up paddleboard techniques. Instructors will act as safety boaters, be available to answer questions, and provide basic instruction for strokes and maneuvers.
Kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards will be available for everyone to try out on the pond by the beach!
Cost is $10 for an individual or $15 for a family. Preregister by Friday, May 18th at noon in the Parks Main Office 989.772.0911 x340.
