Location: The crash occurred on N. Mission Rd., just south of E. Weidman Rd., Isabella Township, Isabella County, Michigan
Vehicle Involved: 2005 Buick Terraza driven by Jennifer Lee Germain, 32 years old from Rosebush, Michigan
Deceased: Lloyd Ciszewski, 62 years old from Rosebush, Michigan
Information: The Isabella County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a fatal car/pedestrian traffic crash that occurred on N. Mission Rd., just south of E. Weidman Rd. A vehicle driven by Jennifer Germain was traveling north on Mission Rd. and struck Lloyd Ciszewski, who was walking on the roadway with dark colored clothing. Ms. Germain stated she didn’t see Mr. Ciszewski. It is unknown why Mr. Ciszewski was walking in the roadway at that time of the day.
Alcohol and/or other drugs were not a factor with the driver of the vehicle.
Assisted By: The Isabella County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by Michigan State Police, Isabella Northeast Fire Department, Mobile Medical Response (MMR) and Central Dispatch.
The crash remains under investigation by the Isabella County Sheriff’s Department.
