The 18th Annual Art From Our Park event will take place Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Deerfield Nature Park from 12-4 pm.
Isabella County Parks has been awarded an Experience Support grant of $3,000 from the State of Michigan Arts and Culture Council (MACC) in support of this annual arts event. The grant was awarded through the MACC peer review process and was one of 828 applications to compete for MACC fiscal year 2025 funding. The MACC peer review process allows for each grant application to be competitively considered by a panel of in-state and out-of-state arts and culture professionals. This ensures the taxpayers, who support this project through legislative appropriations, and all other visitors or residents in Michigan will have access to the highest quality arts and cultural experiences.
Art From Our Park is a unique, outdoor, family-friendly event promoting arts and nature throughout Isabella County. Hosted by Isabella County Parks in partnership with Art Reach of Mid Michigan, it is the perfect opportunity to get creative while enjoying the peacefulness of nature.
The event allows local artists to share their talents and inspire the community. Park-inspired art will be on display, as well as live music, dance performances, bonfires and refreshments. Participants are encouraged to stop by the Creation Stations for a variety of make-and-take crafts.
