The 17th Annual Art From Our Park event is planned for Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Deerfield Nature Park from 12-4 pm.
The Mt. Pleasant Area Community Foundation awarded a $3,000 grant to Isabella County Parks in support of the event as part of their Fall 2023 Competitive Grant Cycle. Funds were provided in part by the Kay Smith Family Fund, the William and Janet Maar Strickler Community Impact Fund, the Isabella Bank Director Memorial Fund, and the Schafer Community Impact Fund.
Art From Our Park is a unique, outdoor, family-friendly event promoting arts and nature throughout Isabella County. Hosted by Isabella County Parks in partnership with Art Reach of Mid Michigan, it is the perfect opportunity to get creative while enjoying the peacefulness of nature.
The event allows local artists to share their talents and inspire the community. Park-inspired art will be on display, as well as live music, dance performances, bonfires and refreshments. Participants are encouraged to stop by the Creation Stations for a variety of make-and-take crafts!
