At the Tuesday, October 15, 2024 and the Tuesday, December 17, 2024 Board of County Commissioners meetings, Isabella County Parks fees and charges adjustments were approved. The changes will improve and streamline operations at the campground. These changes will go into effect for the 2025 season. The changes are as follows:
- The Mooring Fee for those permitted to moor their boats at Coldwater Lake Family Park for the 2025 season is now $500 regardless of whether camping at any time during the 2025 camping season.
- Regarding extended stay reservations (30+ nights camping at discounted rate when re-reserving in November) where a Payment Plan is desired:
- Payment Plan Installment Fee: $15/scheduled payment
- Payment Plan Late Fee: $50
- Memorial Tribute Benches within the County Parks are now $1,200/per bench. Pricing subject to change pending final site plan, contact Main Office.
- RV Dump/Fill Fee (for non-current campers): $10
- Isabella County Parks Watercraft Permit Fee Modifications
- Watercraft DAY USE permits, currently sold for $3/day, are being eliminated. This includes passes for campers buying a watercraft permit for their camping stay. They will now buy the annual permit sticker as well.
- ALL watercraft permits will now be ANNUAL permits. Day Use permits will no longer be sold.
- Annual watercraft permits will be available in two categories: Trailered and Basic
- Trailered watercraft permit (boat, kayak, canoe or watercraft of any type that is hauled into the park on a trailer)
- $10 permit will be good for the whole season
- Owner will receive a two-piece, numbered sticker
- One sticker shall be affixed to the watercraft, the other sticker shall be affixed to the trailer
- Anyone with a trailer hauling multiple watercraft must purchase one trailer permit, then one basic permit for each additional watercraft
- Owner information will be collected at the point of sale and will be matched to the number on the permit stickers
- Basic watercraft (any kayak, canoe, or watercraft that is hauled into the park in or on the vehicle without a trailer)
- $5 permit will be good for the whole season
- Owner will receive a one-piece sticker
- Sticker shall be affixed to the watercraft
- Trailered watercraft permit (boat, kayak, canoe or watercraft of any type that is hauled into the park on a trailer)
