If you are a wartime era veteran or the spouse of a wartime era veteran, you may qualify for a VA Benefit called Pension with Aid and Attendance. This benefit can help with reimbursing some medical costs to include health insurance, home care giver, assisted living, or nursing home payments. This is a needs based program where income and assets will determine eligibility. Come to the Isabella County VA office and we will assist you with the application process.
If possible bring the following documents:
DD-214 or equivalent military discharge
Current marriage certificate
Death certificate of the veteran (if applicable)
